Peter Vincent Marlotti
Mr. Marlotti is a native of New
York. Born in Scarsdale, NY, the son of a noted artist, Marlotti
studied and taught piano on the east coast ubtil 1983 when he moved to
the west coast.
He has often performed on radio and
television. at music festivals, other colleges, and Carnegie Hall.
EDUCATION:
Bachelor of Science Degree in Piano Music from the State University of
New York in Albany. Graduate studies with Jules Langert at Dominican
College in California. Early training in music theory and harmony was
with Vittorio Giannini. Piano studies were with Isabella Vengerova,
Simon Barerre and Frank Sheridan at Mannes College.
MA and PHD, 99-2002 in music composition.
